Dreamin’ In Color was born from a moment of reflection, inspiration, and community.

In 2021, founder Tiffany Spencer traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma for Juneteenth, visiting the historic Greenwood District—once known as Black Wall Street. Walking through the district and reflecting on the legacy of resilience, entrepreneurship, and community rebuilding that emerged from tragedy, Tiffany felt deeply inspired by what was possible when a community comes together with shared purpose.

That experience sparked a vision: what if there were a space where technology professionals could gather not only to learn and advance their careers, but also to build community, celebrate culture, and support one another?

When Tiffany returned home, she began sharing the idea with a group of fellow Salesforce Trailblazers—community leaders, technologists, and advocates who believed in the same mission of representation, opportunity, and collective growth. Together, they began shaping what would eventually become the Dreamin’ In Color Conference.

19 - 22th July 2022

Dreamin’ In Color is a Salesforce Community Conference designed to empower professionals working with or interested in the Salesforce platform and its connected technologies.

The event brings together technologists, entrepreneurs, students, and community leaders for an experience that blends technical learning, career development, and community building.

Attendees can expect:

  • Inspiring keynote speakers
  • Technical sessions and hands-on learning labs
  • Career and leadership development conversations
  • Entrepreneurship and innovation discussions
  • Networking events and community gatherings
  • Opportunities to connect with companies across the ecosystem

Dreamin’ In Color began as a way to support and uplift the Black Salesforce Trailblazer community.

The goal was simple but powerful: create a space where Black professionals in the Salesforce ecosystem could come together to share knowledge, build relationships, and see themselves reflected in the technology community.

The response was immediate and powerful. The conference quickly became a place where professionals could learn from each other, celebrate achievements, and expand their networks within a supportive and welcoming environment.

As the conference grew, so did the vision.

Two years after launching Dreamin’ In Color, the community expanded to intentionally include and celebrate Latinx and Hispanic professionals within

the Salesforce ecosystem

To support this expanded vision, new initiatives and activities were introduced:

Soñando En Color

Programming and experiences that celebrate the contributions and perspectives of Latinx and Hispanic professionals in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Calor

Community-driven gatherings and networking experiences designed to foster connection, mentorship, and collaboration across cultures within the ecosystem. Today, Dreamin’ In Color continues to honor its roots in supporting the Black Trailblazer community while also embracing a broader mission of inclusion and collaboration.
